At Once Upon a Time Teaching, we believe every child deserves to feel capable, confident, and excited to learn. We know that learning isn't one-size-fits-all, which is why we meet each child where they are and help them grow through personalized, meaningful instruction.

We offer personalized one-on-one tutoring both virtually nationwide and in person throughout the Pittsburgh area, as well as small-group learning opportunities designed to foster collaboration, confidence, and a love of learning. Every session is tailored to each child's unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Using research-based instruction grounded in structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham principles, while intentionally incorporating social-emotional learning and executive functioning strategies, we combine evidence-based teaching with genuine relationships to help children build the skills and confidence they need to become lifelong learners.
