Early Literacy Skills
We help children build the foundational skills needed for later reading success, including phonological awareness, rhyming, print awareness, letter-sound knowledge, and more. Through playful, engaging activities focused on early literacy skills, we help children develop strong foundations while fostering confidence, curiosity, and an early love of reading.
Reading Intervention & Dyslexia Support
We provide targeted reading support that reflects the practices of a structured literacy approach, grounded in the science behind reading research. Using Orton-Gillingham methods and strategies, we help children improve on the five key concepts of reading identified by the National Reading Panel: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension. Our intervention is direct and explicit, systematic, and multisensory, ensuring that learning is effective and enjoyable. We incorporate hands-on activities and games to support my students' unique needs, keeping them motivated and engaged throughout the learning process.
Spelling / Writing Skills
Spelling and reading rely on the same mental representation of a word, so knowing how to spell a word makes the representation of it strong and more easily accessible for fluent reading. Through explicit multisensory instruction in basic phonics skills, we will help your child uncover the rules of our language and become a better speller. Additionally, we can help your child build their confidence in foundational writing skills, including sentence structure, basic grammar, organization, revising and editing, and more. They will learn how to effectively express themselves through writing.

Enrichment Opportunities
All students are on their own unique educational journey. To encourage our gifted students in new and challenging ways, we take their individual skills and interests and go deeper through project-based learning, advanced topics, and creative science experiments and activities. We will help cultivate a growth-mindset in your child!

Social Emotional Learning
By focusing on the whole child, we intentionally embed social-emotional learning into our instruction. Through play, books, games, and role-playing, we help students strengthen self-regulation, identify and communicate their emotions and needs, develop empathy for others, and build the skills they need to navigate relationships with friends and peers.
Expressive / Receptive Language Skills

Strong language skills help children understand others and clearly communicate their own thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Through our learning activities, we support both receptive language, how children understand and process language, and expressive language, how they communicate what they know, think, and feel.
Executive Functioning Skills

With students who are growing their executive functioning skills, we intentionally embed this support into academic instruction. Through high-interest activities and everyday learning tasks, students strengthen skills like attention, working memory, planning, time management, organization and more. We help students understand how these skills connect to their academics and everyday life, while building strategies that support them as learners.
Math Support
Using a multisensory approach to teaching math, we meet students at their current skill level and help them learn concepts in ways that make sense to them. Through hands-on games, learning activities, and explicit strategy instruction, we help students build number sense, strengthen problem-solving skills, and conceptualize math rather than relying only on rote memorization.

Educator Coaching
Ms. Brandi, our founder, offers 1:1 coaching sessions to educators who are interested in learning more about the science of reading! You can discuss things like: lesson planning, multisensory techniques in the classroom, consulting on an individual case, and useful tips and strategies to help your readers. You'll also be able to discuss the ins and outs of starting your own tutoring business. The coaching call will be customized to you, and your needs!
